Why do we use it?

Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

Am 12. April 2018 trafen sich 22 Frauen und Männer bei der Bowlingbahn in Aarau. Nach dem die Schuhe gewechselt waren, hiess es möglichst viele Strikes oder doch zumindest möglichst viele Spares zu werfen. Wir spielten insgesamt 2 Runden auf 6 Bahnen verteilt. Nach diesen beiden Runden wurden die beiden Gewinner erkoren. Wie schon letztes Jahr konnte ein Geschwisterpaar die Führung in der Vereinsmeisterschaft übernehmen. Bei den Frauen gewann Michelle Hofer mit 209 Punkten, bei den Männern Raphael Hofer mit 292 Punkten.

Am Dienstag nach den Sommerferien trafen wir uns auf dem Ballyplatz in Gränichen um gemeinsam mit dem Velo, oder vereinzelte mit dem Auto, nach Oberentfelden ins Tenniscenter Aarau West zu fahren. Bei der zweiten Disziplin der Vereinsmeisterschaft, dem Minigolf, versuchten die Mitglieder mit möglichst wenigen Schlägen den Ball um, unter oder über die Hindernisse in den 18 Löchern zu versenken. Sandra Waltenspühl und Isabel Plüss lieferten sich ein Kopf an Kopf Rennen und belegten am Schluss gemeinsam den 1. Platz mit lediglich 43 Schlägen. Bei den Männern hiess der alleinige Sieger Stefan Gottermayer mit 41 Schlägen. Es war ein toller Sommerabend, den wir bei einem feinen Coupe auf der Terrasse ausklingen liessen.

Nach dem das Spielturnier „2 hour of power“ letztes Jahr im November durchgeführt und auf grosses Interesse stiess, wurde diese 3. Disziplin der VM erneut nach der Abendunterhaltung, am 14. November 2018, bestritten. Erfreulicherweise konnte ich 30 Satüsler/Innen in der Dreifachhalle in Gränichen begrüssen. So bildeten wir 6 faire Mannschaften und konnten uns in 3 verschiedenen Sportarten messen. Wir spielten jeweils 12 Minuten Volleyball, Touchball und Lacross und das gegen jede Mannschaft. Am Ende mussten die Resultate je nach Spiel addiert oder multipliziert werden. Das Gewinner-Team des Abends hiess: Lea Dumont, Michael Suter, Remo Wehrli, Isabel Plüss und Thomas Suter. Nach der Arbeit das Vergnügen: Im Restaurant Linden liessen wir das anstrengende Spielturnier Revue passieren.

 

Die letzte Disziplin der Vereinsmeisterschaft fand wie gewohnt am Vereinsabend statt. Der ganze Abend verlief unter dem Motto Kreuzfahrt, so auch die Disziplinen „Shuffle“, „Gummistiefelwerfen“ und „Seehundtreffen“. Die grösste Herausforderung war ganz klar die Disziplin „Seehundtreffen“. Dabei mussten 4 Ringe über einen bewegenden Seehund geworfen werden. Und gerade diese Disziplin war die Wichtigste, denn dieses Resultat ergab den Multiplikator, mit welchem die anderen Resultate des Abends multipliziert wurden. Der Tagessieg holte sich bei den Frauen Karin Kunz und bei den Männern David Villiger.

An der Generalversammlung vom 22.02.2019 wurden die verdiente Vereinsmeisterin und der verdiente Vereinsmeister 2018 gekürt. Wir durften Sandra Waltenspühl zur Vereinsmeisterin 2018 ehren. Nach 2011 durfte Sie erneut den Pokal entgegennehmen. Sie gewann mit 117 Punkten vor Melanie Wiederkehr, welche mit 106 Punkten den 2. Platz belegte und vor Manuela Andreoli auf dem 3. Platz mit 96 Punkten. Unglaublich aber war, auch bei den Männern gewann nach 2011 wiederum Remo Wehrli mit 131 Punkten die Vereinsmeisterschaft, vor Raphael Suter mit 113 Punkten auf dem 2. Platz und Bruno Geier mit 98 auf dem Platz 3. Herzliche Gratulation.
